I know I can be opinionated, but so what. The thing that is bugging is a recent report that says Organically grown food has no additional health benefits (see here ).
Uhhhhh who cares whether there maybe more of a vitamin punch or not. The fact is organic food has one thing that corporate farms generally can't offer and that the use of pesticides. Which we all know can be linked to the promotion of all kind of diseases. This is a no brainer. Now wouldn't it be nice if they mentioned all the pros and cons.
This brings me to a little other pet peeve and that is "I wonder what they're going to say next week about
So my advice to all the information overload and media ping pong is take it with a grain of salt. All things in moderation cause you just never know what may be good for you today may not be good for you tomorrow.
Peace Out! Lily

It's been awhile
Wow the last time I posted anything was in November and ha! the posting is still relevant and yet still no concrete resolutions in sight. Which oddly makes me feel kind of good, since I've been dragging my ass on some issues.
The fact of the matter is I'm so tired of all this crappy news and back then with all the elections I guess my idealistic side actually thought there might be some real teeth to all this change. I wonder about all the back deals and insider crap we're going to hear about in a few years to come.
So since I want to try to be in a more positive, forward moving mindset I am making a small resolution not to kvetch any more about all the politics. I mean really nothing ever changes.
Although I still can't stand Harper and it goes way beyond just his politicking to more of a personal stance I have on the man and his actions.
Now I vow that hmmm...... I don't really know what I'm going to write here but I'm sure there will be days where something will come up.
Like for instance, I took my daughter to the dentist the other day and well it went well. She was happy almost giddy when she left the office. Definitely not the way she went in, that is for sure. And that night was their spring concert in which I spoke to another parent about the experience and asked for the dentists name. Turns out their child also had a traumatic dentist experience and has refused further dentists appointments. So I ask really is there a pattern here in dentistry?
Well we will be off to the dentist again next week and I hope it continues to go well and the dentist is trying to the build trust.
I may just come back and talk more about this later.
Right now I am soooo looking forward to spring not only peaking it's head but actually sticking around for more than a few days. Things are starting to show their colours and it's amazing really just how quickly it can happen so my only advice is to try to take it in and enjoy every moment when you can.
Happy Spring time.
